My story on reasons for making people understand the Abled Community

Hello everyone, my name is Robert, and as many of you know, I am part of Live at Champs on Twitch. I felt the need to express my feelings and tell everyone what my vision is. Most of you know I have Cerebral Palsy, this doesn't mean I have a disability, it means that I AM ABLE to do whatever normal people do!

These are my missions and I hope that y'all will help me with them.

  • I would like to reform attendance policies and building access regulations. Reform pay discrimination of people with disabilities and increase the pay/income ceiling for disabled individuals so they can work more without losing benefits.

  • Have Human Resource department training meetings to educate them on how disabled people can contribute. Dispel myths about various types of disabilities. Highlight unique perspectives we offer to their products and services.

  • We need to get the word out our community outreach to educate the public about the needs and abilities of disabled individuals. Dispel some common myths about people with disabilities, and change attitudes of people thinking of us as a liability.

  • Go over the many types of invisible and chronic illnesses that can cause disability. Educate on how to be truly supportive of people with disabilities to have access to the world and everything that a normal person would have.

The camp is called Camp Courage, and every year, I'd spend a week there. I did that for 21 years.
